Malongo, a key brand in our gourmet portfolio, is globally recognized for its high-quality coffee and commitment to sustainability. Established in 1934 in Carros, France, as a small roasting house, Malongo has developed into a respected SME over the past 90 years. Supported by a strong global distribution network, they lead the industry in sustainable practices, renewable energies, responsible packaging, and extensive recycling initiatives.    

As pioneers in France for adopting the Max Havelaar - Fair Trade Label, Malongo upholds strong ethical practices, ensuring fair compensation for coffee farmers. They specialize in traditional roasted coffee in ground or whole bean varieties and preserve these rich flavors with pre-dosed pods made from natural, chlorine-free paper.  

As part of our expansion strategy, we offer two main options for acquiring our 1,2,3 Spresso® espresso machines. Clients can purchase these espresso machines for USD $215 or opt for our popular free loan option, which requires a minimum annual purchase of 900 pods. This latter option is designed to accommodate both small-scale businesses and larger commercial operations.

With new management in place for several weeks now, our Malongo team has become well-integrated with our different business lines and has grown to include new team members who share the same values as the brand we represent. Our strategy is focused on building customer trust and forming strategic partnerships to enhance coffee experiences throughout Cambodia.

Currently, Malongo boasts a strong presence in Phnom Penh with a solid customer base of 99 clients and is seeing a monthly increase of 5-6 new clients. We have also established a notable presence in Siem Reap, serving over a dozen clients. We also maintain a smaller presence in Kampot and Kep. To prepare for the high season, we will increase our visibility by visiting 28 sites in Kep and 23 sites in Kampot this September, focusing on business spaces, restaurants, bars, and offices.

Sebastien RODRIGUEZ, Business Development Manager at Malongo, is strategically expanding our client base in Siem Reap by focusing on high-end hotels and restaurants. His goal is to provide affordable, high-quality coffee products that are easy to use in offices, bars, and dining establishments. With the support of Chris VARIN, our Siem Reap Branch Manager, we have successfully enhanced our brand’s presence in the hospitality sector, delivering premium coffee to top hotels such as Viroth's Hotel.

We aim to build brand recognition and trust by offering tailored business solutions that meet diverse needs and ensure product availability. This approach to expanding market reach and strengthening our brand’s reputation will allow Malongo to make a meaningful impact in Cambodia’s coffee industry.
