We are proud to announce our partnership with PIXEL Digiart (ex Erai Pixel) in bringing innovative digital amenities to Cambodia. They provide software and training solutions for the digital arts sector and have been doing so for more than a decade. Their knowledge has supported studios and production companies globally.
Our team is supporting them in establishing networking opportunities that will bring together individuals with marketing backgrounds, 2D/3D animators, VFX artists, and other like-minded creatives to introduce PIXEL Digiart services which should allow their presence to expand on the local market and create opportunities for future collaborations. The team is also helping in expanding Pixel Digiart’s exposure to reach other sectors that require software solutions, namely television channels and broadcaster, NGOs, and other production industries in Cambodia through setting up prospective meetings.
A Successful Joint Event
On 1st of March 2024, our Access team in collaboration with PIXEL Digiart held a networking event called “Phnom Penh Creatives Meetup” at Seekers Spirits Independent Phnom Penh. The event welcomed around 100 guests from different sectors in Cambodia and enabled them to connect and have a better understanding of the importance of digital development and why PIXEL Digiart’s presence will play an important role in it.
Matthieu Petit, Account Manager of PIXEL Digiart, said in his presentation that it is time for Cambodia to embrace the software advancements and even with the issues that are coinciding with the rise of digitalization, Cambodia will prevail slowly but surely. On the same night, Mr. Aymeric Pons, the CEO of PIXEL Digiart and Moustache Production, a company specializing in offering significant knowledge of Southeast Asian markets with a network of over 700 partners, including 2D, 3D, Gaming, and/or VFX firms, explained that they are also ready to welcome collaborations from local Cambodian firms with the same objectives.
The event also highlighted two guest speakers, Mr. Richard Sanviti, Development Manager of Phare Creative Studio, which is operated by Phare Performing Social Enterprise and who notably runs the Cambodian Circus. They cultivate Cambodia's creative and artistic community, gathering talents to create new and original material and bring stories to life. During his presentation, aside from presenting the overall operation and scheme of Phare Creative Studio, He also mentioned that Phare Creative Studio is expert in transforming ideas into strong graphics that raise awareness through engaging storytelling and Cambodian-inspired design. They also provide gainful employment, personal and professional development to young creative Cambodians, and have long supported the Visual & Applied Art School (VAAS) of the Phare Ponleu Selpak Association.
And Ms. Siem Leakhana, CEO of Lizard Animation which is the only private animation and webtoon studio still standing in the Kingdom. Ms. Leakhana emphasized how their existence is crucial in delivering animation and reading tools to readers and young generations who enjoy watching anime and other TV animation series. They have been a long partner with overseas creative studios ranging from the United States, Japan, Korea, and China in animation production and are in the process of creating an original series tailored to anime’s enthusiasts.
We believe this partnership will bring exceptional digital solutions and software services amid the nation's readiness in promoting digitalisation through the National Council for Digital Economy and Society framework on Digital business which encourages digital transformation of enterprises.
Congratulations to the team for organising this event, especially Ms. Ponika THAI.
