It has been more than four years since Confluences entered a joint venture with Asia Data Destruction (ADD) on the Cambodian market. ADD is part of our Confluences Ventures initiatives with the vision of becoming the leading certified IT asset disposal company in ASEAN, providing IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), and Data Destruction services in compliance with data protection regulations.

This month, our ADD team welcomed Mr. Sebastien UNG who replaced Mr. Dimitri NAUWELAERTS as the Country Representative and Regional Sales Manager. Now equipped with a new leader, ADD aims to further strengthen its development with its stakeholders to create a better e-waste collection point and an online remarketing unit for second-hand IT equipment.

In short, ADD takes care of the disposal of obsolete or unwanted equipment in a safe and ecologically responsible manner, thus providing minimised costs and maximised returns on remarketed technology, while helping keep sensitive data safe and secure. From July to December 2023, the ADD team erased nearly 600 HDD/SDD (Hard Disk Drives).

More promising news will be announced in 2024. The ADD team changes are part of a group strategy that will position it as a market leader in Asia, with great ambitions in Cambodia.
