Confluences and Concorde Leaders Honored in Top 50

March 31, 2025

In an achievement for both organizations, the CEO of Confluences, Soreasmey Ke Bin, has been named in the Top 50 Leadership Review, while Sven Callebaut, co-founder of Concorde and partner with Confluences in this venture, has earned this distinction for the second consecutive year.

The Leadership Review – 50 International Voices 2025 is produced by Investment Review in partnership with the International Business Chamber. Now in its second edition, the publication highlights 50 of the most influential international business leaders and innovators contributing to the Kingdom's dynamic economic landscape. This recognition positions both Confluences and Concorde as leading consultancies in Cambodia's evolving business landscape.

In his interview with the Leadership Review, Soreasmey Ke Bin shared insights on his leadership philosophy: "My approach to leadership is built on two key principles: discovery and initiative. Discovery means being open to new encounters and experiences—both good and bad—as they always provide valuable lessons. Initiative means taking action instead of simply following instructions, getting involved in collective ventures, and gradually learning how to build and lead projects."

Looking toward the future, Soreasmey emphasized: "Cambodia is at a turning point. The country's rapid development means that it can no longer rely as much on international aid and must instead strengthen its private sector. For that to happen, Cambodian businesses and entrepreneurs need to be prepared—with the right skills, structure, and long-term strategy."

The recognition also highlights Sven Callebaut's accomplishments. As an Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce with over 25 years of experience in trade policy, digital trade, FDI and regional integration, Callebaut has made significant contributions to Cambodia's development. He co-authored the Handbook on Investing in Cambodia (2023) and currently leads the formulation of Cambodia Trade Policy 2030.

Sven's partnership with Confluences in creating Concorde (www.concorde.asia) demonstrates mutual trust, which this second consecutive Top 50 recognition further validates. His expertise complements Confluences' local knowledge and network.

"The partnership with Sven through Concorde strengthens our ecosystem and enables broader collaborations," notes Soreasmey. "Together, we can have a more significant impact on Cambodia's development by partnering with other stakeholders to address development aid projects."

The Top 50 Review evaluates executives across multiple dimensions, including strategic vision, innovation, and organizational impact. While Confluences celebrates a decade of market presence, Concorde represents a new venture that has already secured significant projects despite being only six months old, with other prominent personalities expected to join the firm soon. Sven's recognition is based on his extensive personal achievements, but both organizations share common ambitions for expanding their influence across Cambodia and into neighboring markets.
