With the aim of promoting Southeast Asia, the backbone of the Indo-Pacific region and source of worldwide growth, Business France organised the Southeast Asia Forum for the first time in 5 years, in partnership with the French Senate. The economic forum took place on December 4th, 2023 and presented the dynamism of outward-looking economies, and those in an accelerated process of catching up.

Confluences, identified as market experts of Cambodia by Team France Export, presented with one of our partner consultants, while our CEO joined the one-to-one online meetings. As you can imagine, our team did its best to promote Cambodia as the country of choice for a first market entry.

For French companies, strategically choosing to consider the Southeast Asia region offers many advantages. After first targeting a country based on a product or a service, it is easier to connect to other markets in the economic zone. 

More than a hundred French companies which were interested in the potential of the market attended the forum. Our team engaged with two dozen companies to discuss the opportunities.
