Confluences CEO Mr. Soreasmey Ke Bin was invited to attend a conference and reception on behalf of LIU Hongjian, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and Secretary of CPC Kunming Municipal Committee, on their visit to Phnom Penh, held on the 14th of May.

The China (Kunming) and Cambodia Industrial Cooperation Promotional Conference was held at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh at which the preferential policy of Kunming, advantageous industrial projects and the market environment were discussed to members of the Cambodian and Chinese enterprises based within the Kingdom.

It was also indicated that the Yunnan province and Kunming municipal authorities is seeking for potential investment opportunities and is looking to strengthen Kunming-Cambodia bilateral cooperation.

The reception was intended to forge ties between the provinces in China and Cambodia and to improve GMS (Greater Mekong Subregion) business relations as well as those of the CCLMTV (Cambodia, China (Yunnan province), Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam).

Following the forum in Phnom Penh, our CEO also accompanied Yunnan representatives on a brief visit to the old Siem Reap Airport, and the new Chinese-build Phnom Penh Airport. These initiatives reflect Confluences' ongoing commitment to nurturing stronger economic connections between international communities and Cambodia.
