Since 2021, Confluences has been working as the local strategic partner for CLS Group, a global company and pioneer provider of monitoring and surveillance solutions for the planet.

CLS Group aims to capture the growing interest of the Kingdom in monitoring its natural resources, notably its water and fishing resources. In doing so, Confluences has been tracking several key projects with relevant Cambodian authorities and some of these are now gaining traction.

We were happy to welcome Mr. Pierre VASSAL in late May for a series of meetings with both public and private entities - he is a business developer for the sustainable management of fisheries in the Asia-Pacific region.

We also hosted a visit from CLS management, as Mr Jean-Baptiste VOISIN (the CLS Country Director for Indonesia) was invited as a key speaker at the "Innovation & Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development in Cambodia 2023” event, hosted by the Agence Française De Développement in Phnom Penh. The sessions were held in the presence of many representatives from both AFD, the Royal Government of Cambodia and public and private stakeholders. Mr. VOISIN had the opportunity to present the company’s lines of business and case studies on how satellite technologies can be used for sustainable development.

During the conferences, our Confluences Access team mobilised by setting up a CLS booth and we had the opportunity to present the full scope of CLS’s innovative solutions on sustainable development.
