As you may have read through our previous newsletter, our Confluences Access team has been tasked by AFD (Agence Française De Développement) to conduct a consultation mission targeting all stakeholders involved in driving the ongoing digital transformation in the Kingdom of Cambodia. In particular, those identified in the two game-changing policy frameworks issued by the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) — namely the Cambodia Digital Economy and Society Policy Framework2 (CDESPF) 2021-2035 and the Cambodia Digital Government Policy3 (CDGP) 2022-2035.
To that end, our Access team is currently meeting all RGC ministries, agencies, regulatory authorities, provincial governors, subnational administration and state-owned enterprises. We are also hoping to meet with Phnom Penh Capital Hall officials and explore partnership opportunities between Phnom Penh Capital Hall and AFD around digitally-driven projects.
Our Access Team has already successfully conducted more than 20 meetings with relevant authorities and development agencies, and we have two more meetings to go, with the hope of concluding this mission in June 2023.
