Our Ventures department was busy last month organising several meetings for our partner Mr. Souliyo Vongdala, founder and CEO of LOCA Laos.
Confluences Ventures signed an agreement with this Laotian startup earlier last year (29th of September, 2022) to accompany their entry on the Cambodian market. On his first visit, Mr. Souliyo had the opportunity to meet the relevant authorities for his business: the Cambodian Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the Ministry of Industry, Sciences, Technologies and Innovation, and the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).
Mr. Souliyo also joined a panel discussion during the Digital Economy Forum organised by the network of American Chambers of Commerce in the Mekong subregion, and another event on electric mobility in Cambodia. Several fruitful meetings were also held with potential partners and investors for this promising project.
It was a busy and productive week and we will be excited to announce more soon on this exciting project that could change Cambodian urban mobility!
