Our CEO was on the road (or rather in the air) as he spent two weeks visiting both Laos and Thailand this past month. In Laos, he represented Confluences by joining an observatory mission organised by the French-Cambodian Chamber of Commerce. 

This was a great opportunity to explore new partnerships but also also connect with existing contacts and partners, as Confluences has been working on several projects in Laos over recent months. Laos and Cambodia have many aspects in common, and there is no doubt that the efforts made by both the government and the logistics stakeholders will improve the connection between the two countries - hence increasing economic exchanges and investments.

In Bangkok, Soreasmey had the opportunity to reconnect with past and current clients and partners, which should lead to new projects before the end of 2022!

All Mekong countries have now reopened post-pandemic, and Confluences will pursue its efforts to develop business opportunities and ties between the different business ecosystems.
