Confluences is participating in the Second Edition of the Cambodia Energy Efficiency Competition. Known as “CEE Comp,” this is a self-sustaining, multi-year campaign that helps boost energy efficiency in Cambodia and across Southeast Asia. The CEE Comp is hosted by a consulting company, Sevea, with an endorsement by the Ministry of Environment. Confluences will compete against 18 buildings from both the public and private sectors over the span of a year to reduce energy consumption.
The main objective of this competition is for the participating company to save the maximum amount of energy within a 12-month duration by improving the building’s management, mobilising its occupants to be cost-efficient, while eliminating energy waste.
Confluences is taking the opportunity in this competition to plan and showcase our energy-saving strategies while competing against others to achieve the highest reduction in energy consumption. We have already formed our Green Team consisting of 5 members from different departments under the name “Eco-fluences”. Ms. Dara N. VAN, our Business Development and Marcom Manager, is the Green Team Leader.
With our Green Team now ready, we will try our best to make an impact in contributing to a better environment while engaging in long-term sustainability by reducing our carbon footprint among our staff engagement activities.
At Confluences, we aim to drive positive environmental change with some of our recent eco-friendly efforts, including our participation in the Zero Waste Management course offered by our resident company, Little Green Spark, as well as the Waste Summit 2023.
We will release more information about our activities in this competition soon!
