We have been working with CLS, a subsidiary of CNES and CNP, who are a global pioneer provider of monitoring and surveillance solutions since 1986, for more than three years and serve as their local representatives in Cambodia, while acting as CLS Group’s Strategic Partner in the Kingdom since 2021.
We continue to use our expertise and local network to establish strong prospects for CLS and were delighted to see senior stakeholders visit us late in March, to further discuss potential leads and to setup additional meetings with government ministries and other stakeholders and development agencies.
This is one of several visits from CLS Group we have facilitated over recent years, most recently in mid-2023, which has enabled them to better engage with local public institutions, NGOs, private companies, and ministries. Confluences CEO Soreasmey Ke Bin, has also previously visited our partners at their headquarters in Toulouse, France.
This is is the first time since we signed our strategic partnership with CLS that they receive the top management in Cambodia. Two business units are represented and it addressed mostly environmental, fisheries and agricultural projects. Those present during this visit : Ms. Sophie BESNARD (International Development Director), Mr. Pierre VASSAL(Business Developer- Sustainable Management of Fisheries- Asia-Pacific) and Mr. Jean-Phillippe LUC (Business Developer). Furthermore, our Team secured and managed 19 meetings in 3 days for our partners.
We are confident these ongoing meetings can lead to CLS group’s mission, to create innovative solutions to understand and protect our planet, and to manage and monitor our natural resources sustainably in Cambodia, notably the Kingdom’s water and fishing resources.
