It has been four years since Confluences entered a joint venture with Asia Data Destruction (ADD) on the Cambodian market. ADD is part of our Confluences Ventures initiatives with the vision of becoming the leading certified IT asset disposal company in ASEAN, providing IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and Data Destruction services in compliance with data protection regulations.
In summary, ADD takes care of the disposal of obsolete or unwanted equipment in a safe and ecologically responsible manner, thus providing minimised costs and maximised returns on remarketed technology while helping keep sensitive data safe and secure.
The team in Cambodia has been growing and recently welcomed Ms. Sopheak Ren as the Senior Administration Officer, and Ms. Ambre des Fontaines as the Marketing and Business Development Intern, while Mr. Dimitri Nauwelaerts is the Country Representative and Regional Sales Manager. Now equipped with a full team, ADD aims to work more closely with its stakeholders to develop a better e-waste collection point and an online remarketing unit for second hand IT equipment.
Mr. Dimitri Nauwelaerts, on behalf of ADD Cambodia, participated in the APAC Forum 2023 held in Ho Chi Minh which was organised by the French Foreign Trade Advisors, under the main topic Asia 4.0.
He had the opportunity to meet ADD’s top management and co-founders, and also the local Vietnamese team. Dimitri also gave a keynote speech on the circular economy and computer waste collection during an event organised by the French Cambodian Chamber of Commerce.
More will come, and ADD is eagerly pursuing its goals in Cambodia. If you want to know more about data management and destruction, or if you have old IT equipment lying around, don't hesitate to contact us at cambodia@asiadatadestruction.com
