From July 8th to 10th, the prestigious France Cambodia Business Forum took place, marking the 2nd edition of the event. As with the previous edition, Confluences played a key role in uniting our partners and clients at this year's forum, which served as a valuable platform for advancing economic relations between France and Cambodia.

Over three dynamic days, the forum brought together over 200 companies and 300 professionals for a range of engaging programs. The event featured around twenty round tables and pitch sessions, more than fifteen mini-conferences, a series of panel discussions, site visits, and numerous B2B and B2G networking opportunities.  

These sessions aimed to encourage dialogue and collaboration between the French and Cambodian business communities, serving as an effective platform for participants to explore potential partnerships, and gain valuable insights into the Cambodian market while building rapport with key local representatives.

A special shoutout goes to Dara N. VAN, our dedicated Business Development Manager, for her support as a co-organizer through her position on the CCI France Cambodge board of directors. Her consistent efforts and unwavering presence throughout the entire three-day forum were crucial for its success.

The 2024 France Cambodia Business Forum was organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia (CCIFC) and CCE Cambodia - French Foreign Trade Advisors (Les Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France) (CCEF), in collaboration with the French Embassy in Cambodia, the Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF), and the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC).

The forum was attended by a variety of professionals and partners. We welcomed Stéphanie LIMOUZIN and Sophie BESNARD from Collecte Localisation Satellites, Isabel LECÉA SAN ROMÁN and Sarah TAUCH from Memorist, Frédéric TAMBON from Society and Fred, and Laurent LANDIE and Christophe POISSON from Asia Data Destruction. We also connected our residents Denis BARRE from Convergences, Yiling HUANG from Horizon Optics, Olivier DESCHAMPS from WECARE Insurance, and Julien DEVYNICK from Menard.

As we reflect on the success of the 2024 France Cambodia Business Forum, we are hopeful about the future growth of economic relations between our two countries.
