Last month, we were delighted to have hosted the entire team from "Monsieur", the new concept bar dedicated to wine in Phnom Penh.

All three of Jean-Baptiste Van Hamme, Tangie Le Gall, and Pierre Pages, are co-founders/associate general managers, and they arrived from France and Belgium for the final stretch before opening this venue at the end of June. 

It is a first visit to Cambodia for Jean-Baptiste Van Hamme and Tangie Le Gall, who are using the opportunity to spend time with their operational teams on site, namely, Fabio Pilliat Leget and Robinson Marguerite. Both are in charge of "Monsieur", as well as Ky Lyden who will lead the events.

It was also their first meeting with our Confluences teams who were an integral part of this wonderful project. We carried out the market and feasibility studies and ensured the operational deployment.

Led by French sommelier Pierre Pages, the project includes a boutique space and a tasting room that can be booked for private or corporate events. Wines, spirits, charcuterie , and coffee will also be available for tasting and purchase. 

‍"Monsieur" aims to highlight and promote French wines and spirits, as well as those of renowned brands. Please note that "Monsieur" is also the official distributor of the Malongo brand in Cambodia (coffees and machines)

This wine bar offers 190 square meters at Aquation Office Park (Phnom Penh) and will open its doors to the general public by the end of June.
