Trade Mission Leads To A Strategic Partnership

February 1, 2024
Mr Florian Azim (PORALU Marine) & Mr Soreasmey KE BIN

Our Access department organised a commercial mission to Cambodia for The Searial Cleaners (TSC) which offers technological solutions for cleaning riverbanks, the seas, and rivers.

This first mission was very promising, and while commercial negotiations continue with several prospects, the discussions with TSC have extended to the PORALU Marine group, which is a leader in the construction and consulting of marinas.

Our CEO Soreasmey KE BIN took advantage of his visit to France to visit PORALU Marine’s facilities, specifically their factory and workshops in the Lyon region, and sealed a partnership for the Cambodian market.

The PORALU group operates on 5 continents through two factories, the one mentioned in France and one more in Canada, but they also have plans to add a third in Asia. Since its creation 40 years ago, the group has carried out more than 8,000 marina projects worldwide, offering a complete package; from consulting, design and engineering services, through to the installation, maintenance and operations of the marina

Although Cambodia does not currently have any marina carrying its name, the Kingdom’s 450 kilometers of coastline and its sixty islands, not to mention the development of its rivers and lakes, means Cambodia represents distinct potential for future marina projects as part of real estate development projects and infrastructure developments.

It is now up to Confluences Access to develop the Cambodian market for both the PORALU Marine group as a whole, and it's startup The Searial Cleaners (TSC). A first trade mission to PORALU is planned for mid-February 2024, so do not hesitate to contact us if this might interest you.
