Two months ago, Jules Berson, Project Coordinator for our Ventures department, joined our team for a period of 8 months.
In particular, he was working on two new projects, one for cultural entertainment, and another for a language centre. For these two projects, Confluences is partnering with international entities that are experts in their field and the first step was to conduct two feasibility and market studies.
These studies extended over several weeks with an initial research phase followed by a field phase which included client meetings and/or site visits in order to identify locations that met the needs of these two projects before they can be developed in the Kingdom.
As a reminder, our Ventures department was created a little over a year ago, and we are now the driving force behind projects initiated on the Cambodian and ASEAN markets with technological and/or financial partners - selected by us.
Today, the department continues to develop its portfolio of interests in high potential, innovative, and sustainable companies and maintains its stake in the start-up Last2ticket, the legal tech firm Belaws, and the IT company Asia Data Destruction. There are two additional projects - one involves the introduction of river taxis, and another in the agro-industry which are still in the development phase.
As mentioned before, 2023 will also be the launch year of the Immersive Angkor project, the flagship project of our young department!
