Immersive Angkor - On November 15th, our partners at Iconem, led by CEO Mr. Yves UBELMANN, attended the Fourth Intergovernmental Conference in Paris on Angkor at UNESCO. His Majesty King NORODOM Sihamoni and the highest representatives of the Cambodian authorities were also present.
Mr. Ubelmann was invited to present on the latest work from Iconem in partnership with APSARA authority, notably the digitalisation of several temples and the training of several teams of Cambodian archeologists on the latest heritage preservation and documentation technologies.
Iconem is one of the founding entities of the Immersive Heritage Collection, behind the Cambodian-registered company Immersive Angkor Legacy Co., Ltd. More news on this project will be disclosed soon, so stay tuned!
Horizon Optics - Our team welcomed two managers in joining the store, Mr. Samuel LAUNEY and Ms. Vincent TREMBLAY, who both have recently completed their training in Bangkok, Thailand.
In addition, the store also received its first products, including bags, glass boxes, and other essential equipment to set up at the Horizon Optics store in Phnom Penh. The store is progressing with its renovation, and is currently scheduled to launch at a grand opening by the end of December 2023.
