TERAO Asia - On 5th September 2023, our partner TERAO Asia, with support from Confluences Access, will be hosting an event "Sustainable Building Seminar" from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm at TRIBE Phnom Penh.

Experts from TERAO will share details on how companies can make their facilities more sustainable and reduce their environmental footprint in the context of Cambodia (climatic conditions, access to technologies, energy market, financing…). Additionally, advice will be given on how being sustainable goes beyond compliance and brings real economic and social benefits to companies. This event is highly recommended for decision-makers and end-users who are interested in acquiring knowledge and implementing sustainable practices in their existing or new facilities.

TERAO is an engineering company with 30 years of energy efficiency and sustainable building engineering experience and is active in Asia (since 2008) and worldwide (Europe, Africa, Americas). TERAO operates on the whole building life cycle, from design to operation and maintenance and also assists its clients in their process of reducing environmental impact through carbon footprint assessment and emissions reductions.

Asia Data Destruction (ADD) - On 6th September, 2023, our Ventures companies ADD, in collaboration with DFDL Cambodia, is hosting a workshop related to "Data Protection & Responsible IT Asset Management" from 8:30 am to 11:00 am at Raintree in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

This workshop aims to provide insights into the evolving landscape of data protection regulations in Cambodia, shedding light on compliance requirements and best practices. During the workshop, participants will explore the latest innovations in secure data erasure tools, with an offering related to a comprehensive understanding of data disposal that leaves no room for compromise. Additionally, there will be a discussion on sustainable IT asset management that will focus on how businesses can contribute to the circular economy while responsibly managing electronic waste.

ADD is part of our Confluences Ventures initiatives with the vision of becoming the leading certified IT asset disposal company in ASEAN, providing IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and Data Destruction services in compliance with data protection regulations.

French Fashion Collective mission with CGHP - From 19 to 23 September, Confluences is partnering with a French-based consulting firm, CGHP, for a first collective mission with several French fashion brands. Our Access team will present the market opportunities and introduce them to potential retail partners and distributors. Confluences and CGHP are also jointly organising a cocktail event with a fashion show to showcase the brands to invited guests, potential partners, media, and influencers on the 21st of September, 2023.

WEGROW  - On 26th September 2023, our partner WEGROW, with the support and facilitation by our Access team, will be hosting an exclusive event about "Collective intelligence - how to share and scale best practices". The event will be held at Monsieur Wine Bar in Phnom Penh in the evening. 

WEGROW is a digital platform that allows teams to share and scale best practices in marketing, sales, supply chains, and HR to increase efficiency and margins. Since November 2022, Confluences has been accompanying the French startup Wegrow on its first mission to enter the Cambodian market.
